Charles Steckley Architecture Inc.

I was very blessed to start my professional career at a summer internship for the architecture firm CSAi. This firm specializes in the telecommunications, wireless, and utility industries. Although I gained valuable knowledge and experience at CSAi, I yearned for more creative freedom that extended beyond the specific industries to which they catered. Below you will find two highlighted projects from my time at CSAi, but please note that these are just a tiny representation of the numerous projects I have worked on during my internship.

Denver Performing Arts Center

At the Denver Performing Arts Center, Verizon commissioned us to install 5G antennas in the plaza; however, the property owner wanted a different look for our antennas. So, I designed a radio frequency transparent screen system that looked like speakers. That way, when the patrons of the Performing Arts Center look up, they will see standard speakers instead of our antennas. Here are the structural drawings of that screen from our Denver Performing Arts Center project.

Colorado Springs Midnight

On this project, Colorado Springs Midnight, we were commissioned by Verizon for an antenna upgrade, which included upgrading the power source to support the new 5G antennas. We used a 20-kilowatt generator for this site that had to be upgraded to 30 kilowatts. Given that this is one of our easier power source upgrades, I was tasked with designing the electrical drawings for this generator upgrade.
